Book a first visit

Ruth or Oli come to your house for an hour or so.

The first visit costs £295, paid once the date is fixed. That is the whole price for the visit and the notes that follow it.

One of the two of us comes to the house, not someone you have never heard of. We walk the ground floor and the garden with you, look at the back wall and the roof, and listen to what you want the house to do that it does not do now.

Then we tell you plainly what is likely to work on a house like yours, what the planners in Bristol tend to accept, and roughly what the building work and our fees would come to. If an architect is not worth it for what you have in mind, we say so.

  1. 1Before we come, you tell us the house type and what you are hoping for, using the form below or on the phone.
  2. 2On the day, we look at every room that would change, the garden, and the houses either side. Bring any old drawings if you have them; it is fine if you do not.
  3. 3Within the week, you get a short written note: what we think the house can take, a rough cost range for the build, and what our next stage would cost. No obligation to go further.

We are south of the river in Southville, among the kind of streets we draw for, a short walk from North Street. Ring before you come and we will give you the door to look for and put the drawings and models out.
